The day starts over, the sun is shinning in the midday sky,

The streets full of laughter, friends meeting up,

Taking the time to chat and share all the memories,

Yet deep down inside I know it will never be the same,

This day could be as perfect as the others,

If only I could lose the feeling of darkness.



As I see you the one last time, I know it can never be,

How you or I dreamed, wished, even tryed to make it,

For I am cursed, everything always ends in tears,

No matter the day, time, place or week,

I was always to shy to stop and speak,

Now look at us, both just as lost as one another.



Then one day I figured hey what else could go wrong,

So with my head held high I walked right up to you,

Asked if I could speak just one last time,

I was prepared for the worst, hopeing for the best,

My heart slowed down, I felt so nervous,

As our eyes met, your hand touched mine.



At that exact second, I felt so confident,

Like things were finally starting to make sense,

Then as we shared our first kiss,

I knew it wouldn't be our last.



As the day was ending,

With a smile upon my face,

My heart full of love,

At that second,

I realised,

I'm not alone

anymore.....
