Dream Two (this is a nice one)
This dream starts with a man in the 21st century. He is ok with his life, it’s not the greatest and he is lonely, he doesn’t make enough money so he works two jobs and has to watch his pennies. Eventually he manages to get time off from both jobs and goes out to the woods to relax and recover from his stressful life. He goes to this place he knows of, a lovely waterfall with a lagoon at the bottom of it. He undresses down to his basics and slips into the water as a rainbow comes over the falls. He swims under the waterfall to this cave behind it and surfaces to come face to face with a unicorn mare.
The two stair at each other for a while then he slowly reaches out a hand to touch it and see if she is real. She lowers her head to him, letting him touch her and he softly rubs her muzzle and around her cheeks as he gets out of the water. He talks to it softly, his surprise showing in his voice as he trails a hand over her flank, the unicorn enjoying that attention as much as he enjoyed giving it.
He slowly walks out of the cave, the unicorn following him to the pool then drinking more as he looks around; the entire place had changed when he went under the falls. He looks for his old Ford POS, which is not there, his cloths, which are missing as well, nothing is the same as it had been when he entered.
He strokes the mare’s side gently and confused as she stops and nuzzles him on the cheek. He asks her if she knows a place to go for things and she nods. He has no money either however but he does have his ex’s rings, he was going to peon them today anyway.
The unicorn leads him to a town and hesitates outside of it. He strokes her side and looks in her eyes; she was scared and nervous about this place. He told her it would be ok and asked, kind of foolishly he thought, if she had a name. She nods and after a moment speaks to him, telling him her name is Azure of the crystal falls.
He manages to coax Azure into town and lead her to a stable where he lets her be for now, promising to get her some food when he comes back and himself some clothing. He goes off to get food, thinking she will be safe there, but some men try and take her, however she gets away from them by changing into a girl of about 15-17 and hiding in the hay.
The men had left before he got back and she had changed back to a horse form. He had been able to peon the three rings for a lot more than he expected to get and now had new clothing, a sack of gold and food for the two of them. He offers her a carrot as he strokes her mane and looks into her eyes, seeing more than equestrian intelligence there.
He tells her his name is Markus and the place he is from, she had never heard of it of coarse. When they get the things they need and are rested they head out the next morning. He does not know yet but he has some magic and he was the one that made he come to this place, she knows however. They continue, him remaining on foot the entire time, as they go to the next town and he lets her lead most of the way.
Even though he is new here he seems to know a lot about the area, a fact that continues to confuse and perplex him as they travel, becoming closer and closer. They both knew this was happening, and she knew it was not ok but that didn’t matter.
In one town they were at she gets into trouble again, this time he sees her as a girl before she can change back, he stands and gapes at her beauty and she then hesitates, coming over to him, only her hair covering her. He is unsure it is she at first but after finding out it is one thing leads to another and they end up entwined together in the stall. She ends up conceiving from this and eventually they make their way to a cave of crystals in the mountains.
Things are ok until about a week before she id due to give birth, two unicorns come and basically share their disapproval of what happened between them. There is no way a human could protect her and he would only weaken and endanger the young.
About a week after they are born three men come and a fight ensues, in the fight Markus ends up causing a cave in trying to hit one of the men atop the cave entrance. The cave in injures Azure and kills one of the three children. He freezes and realizes this is too much now and ends up forfeiting his life to save that which he has left. He lays dead on the ground and the two unicorns from before come over to him ‘you see what happened, we warned you’ they told him, in the end he does not come back to life however, letting himself remain dead to save his family. Azure of the crystal falls stays near there for as long as she can, the kids grow to be strong and skilled in magic of several types. Eventually the lineage moves through time and reaches his father, revealing is some odd way that he was his own distant ancestor.
