The return of the Fox
Some say that long time ago, when everything was about to turn into chaos among the creatures of the Earth, a fox was send by the Gods to restore balance. He taught all the animals that they are one, and that their unity would bring peace. After doing his calling, he went to a cave at the top of the biggest mountain and slept for he was no longer required. Everything was in peace and the creatures lived in harmony as brothers and sisters.
Suddenly, after sleeping for eras, the fox woke up. This could only mean something, the world needed him. He left the cave and as he started walking in the forest, he noticed something was strange. He could neither hear the sound of the trees nor feel the wind in his ears and there was no glimpse of any other living creature around. Suddenly, he realized that the world he knew once was gone.
The fox unable to explain to himself what happened, continued exploring the forest in search for other living beings. As he kept going and seeing how the beautiful place where he once lived had change so much, he kept wondering what happened and why was the forest in such a gruesome state. After giving a good look to his surroundings the fox noted that the majority of the plants were dead, they were all withered.

Suddenly, he saw a tiger at the distance. He felt a relief and as he approached to ask about what happened to everything the tiger saw him and started chasing him. The fox ran as fast as he could and hid under a tree in a small hole. The tiger gave up and continued. The fox after being sure that the tiger wasn’t around went out and saw at the distance how an eagle was eating a rabbit. He had never seen such things before. Then the fox realized something, everyone forgot who they were and everything that the fox taught them, that was why they became wild. Only the strongest and the most cunning species remained. That was the reason why the forest seemed to be so lonely. Now he understood why he was woken up. He was supposed to restore balance and peace as he did once, but this time was different, it was too late. It seemed to him that the other creatures were completely lost and unaware of their true nature. They even couldn´t speak among themselves anymore. He faced the fact that the world was lost and that there was nothing he could do. The fox left the Earth and returned with the Gods.

The Gods realized they made a mistake in letting the fox sleep for too long. They all agreed the world couldn´t be saved so they decided to start again. In just a second, everything was wiped off the Earth so there could be a clean fresh start of a new era, but this time the fox would never leave the creatures Earth.
