Transaction To The Sacred Plains (and what got me there)

Pushed constantly to the edge
My coveted name on a wanton pledge
Lost all faith through gilded love
My name is cursed from gods above
There is no strength to move on
When in the world your left alone
Every promise has been broken
Every word is another lie spoken
My mistakes cry in multitude
They set my chains in solitude
Beat me down to the shadows
Till I’m ready to face the gallows
Overlooked until I reach
The breaking point, then try to teach
Try to preach right from wrong
After slicing my hopes for so very long

I'm so alone…..

What the hell was all of this for
Am I an example of society’s martyrs
Modest and quiet, yet slain by the bigot
Make me carry your cross, dig deep the rivets
Steal my soul and make it your slave
Throw my worthless body in the unmarked grave…

I can’t go on

Where the fuck are you god
Just show me a sign that you exist
Just one damn signal, that’s all I ever asked
Just something to keep the razors from my wrist
Only one word to dry the tears
But no solace will ever kill the fears
That plagues my mind, kills my heart
Burns it to an ashy black
Then slowly rips it apart

So in the end I’ll just fade away
Away from eyes that like to prey
Away from this dark, cold waste
Called existence….
Blood trickles from the open vein
I ready my transition to the next plain
Where piercing pains cant drive me insane
And only the past to reminisce
