“Not even the Pigeon”
This tale takes us to about 10 million of years back, to the paradise where all creatures in the world want to get, a place where the sun shines brightly, where lakes and rivers carry crystalline water with them, where the wind blows with calm and everyone treats one another like the sacred creatures they are. All in it was peace, love, harmony and purity.
On a normal day there was a marvelous, imposing and sacred snake, which was the queen of the place, even though it had the power to kill others, it was so respectful towards others and so sure that it would never do such thing, because there was no need to in that amazing society. While crawling through the bushes in that magic place, a pigeon came to give her an important announce. What most characterized the pigeon was its great light it transmitted to the other creatures and its great wisdom and purity; it was in charge of announcing important events to the queen. The pigeon told desperately to the queen that they had to steal food from other citizens because a big storm was coming, and if they don’t do it, they would die and all of the kingdom would go down and someone else would take the power for the next million years. The pigeon despite being very pure was just playing a trick on the snake because he knew what characterized the snake, and all the pigeon wanted was to spot the name of the queen and make everyone see its bad side, accuse her of being bad and remove her from the throne.
Rapidly the snake used its astute way of moving to steal food for the next days and be sure she would be queen for the rest of her life. But instantly she started to feel a great pain in all of her body, all of the citizens in paradise where very depressed and preoccupied for their queen. Except the pigeon, that was just waiting for everyone to start blaming the queen for stealing.
Finally the queen died, every citizen in paradise lost the love they had in their hearts, the peace that once was abundant in their place, and they forgot completely what harmony was. Each and every citizen lost their path and a great sadness and a great impotence filled their hearts. All came to an end. Now there was no more sun that shined, water from lakes and rivers got too polluted because citizens did not take care of these since the death of the queen, and now wind blew a sensation of remorse and regret. The paradise never came to be what one day was. Every citizen got away, nobody wanted to live there, not even the pigeon.
The moral is: Always stick to ones principals, no matter what comes.
