It Really is Over
We have been together for quite s0metime
We made plans, alter them from time to time
We were so happy, couldn't ask for more
Everthing seemed so perfect.
But plans and dreams will they forever be,
In a snap, before i could even blink,
Broken dreams lay on my feet.
I was in denial, i couldn't even think.
The truth hurt, into my soul the reality sinked.
I wanted to hate you, but i couldn't.
You were so happy, knowing it.
You tried to mend my broken heart,
You clean up the shards.
Said it was me you really love.
And i let you.
Was i dumb to do so?
But meant to separate ways we are.
I cant be happy, knowing i'm hurting somebody.
Looking at you from afar,
I said my goodbyes,tears were in my eyes.
You tried to hold on,but no.
Though my heart bled, the pain unbearable.
I was glad i let you go.
It really is over now.
Memories are all i have of you..
