my life is cursed
my tears are dry
and all these years i'm supposed to cherish
just pass me by
gone on my way
to find yesterday
but i'll never find the words
i want to say
this life was good
the day i died

but if you will just hold my hand
and walk with me across the land
with love between us
and our hearts beating both as one
i wish you would just hold my hand

i've lost my smile
i've lost my name
i've lost the will
to even end this game
or look you in the eye
just another day
will pass me by
and i'll never find the point
to even try

you are all i want
you were all i had
but i'll never face the fact
that you were bad

but if you'll just hold my hand
and if you'll bury me in the sand
then maybe i'll want to miss this land

i've lost my time
i've lost my shame
i've lost the sun
to waste the rain
i've lost it all
i've lost nothing
i've lost all hope
now all i have are moments
to watch it all crumble down

but if you'll just hold my hand
and walk with me across this land
with night to greet us
and another day to shine
