Time to leave the uber castle and strike out like Magellan and Ponce to discover the unknown lands of pagans and gold at age 30. Say farewell, leave a kiss on mother's forehead, you cannot afford a castle up the block, so you rent space in Detroit. Take with you: perseverence and humility, a dose of cool, and intrepidness.

Shock #1: There is big culture here, a new language where gold is musiced dancing and The Pagans are a rap group.I know, nobody told you the sources of rhythm and blues, jazz, and motown was a talented and unique people.

Shock #2: They are humans. With kids and everything! No pools out back, but city centers and ymca's work. Gyms and streets for bikes and jogging, the cars and sidewalkers make room for me.

Shock #3: Not everyone is courteous, but the majority are kind. Ah, myth exposer, the inner city usaers vote, work, and have Phds. Once you learn the slang and language of Ebonics, the possibilities soar.

No more water in the well means living at home under rules of old are over. Exploration where there is space to breath and experiment makes sense. Time to pack to locate and discover the neo-indigenessers. Arrive, not to kill and conquer, but to meld in and evolve into what the founding mothers never intended.
