Governments can not go green (Paris Accord was a waste of air) industry refuses to go green, and wind and solar is incapable of supporting energy for growing numbers of humans. Even banning all cars, planes, and air conditioning is insufficient to stop the unevitable end of humans - temps will rise to 3 C and we go extinct. Sterilizing half the planet's populations has merit to buy us more time. Water and energy consumption at current levels is unsustainable. Bodies really stink as they decompose in the sun. Dune measures may be mandated to collect their moisture. May Soylent Green not be our fate.

Unless we invent cheap ways to turn sea water into fresh water, and use nuclear energy safely, we will not have to worry about Celsius anything. The Water and Migrant Wars will feel like WWIII.

Bleak is not strong enough to describe what lies ahead. Dystopian anti-civilization will be what we leave to future generations not to solve but to endure.
