THE SWORDFISH WITH A DOLPHIN MIND.
It was a hot summer day in the ocean, this was the 10 time the swordfish fail in his attempt of reaching one of the highest waves. Unlike his best friend the dolphin that reach each one of the waves he wanted to. The swordfish was filled with discontent begging to God to turn him into a dolphin, the greatest animal ever existed, he thought.
During his early years he suffer a lot by the absence of his family, he was found by a group of dolphins that give him shelter and teach him all he knew today. Due to this, all his dreams revolve around the fact of changing into a Dolphin. While he was “training” as he liked to called it to turn into a Dolphin, his foster mom interrupt him to have a chat.
Dolphin mom: Have you notice your beautiful long bill?
Swordfish: Yeah mom, I don't see how can you call it beautiful, but believe I see it everyday.
Dm: But do you really do? Or you think you do?
SF: I'm not getting you, what do you mean?
Dm: I mean, you have this beautiful features with a lot of pros, that you just give for granted.
SF: I have tried to enjoy being me, I just can't handle my worthless self, I love to be just like you.
Dm: It tears me apart to hear you say that, hopefully during your self discovery journey you’ll look at yourself the way I and everyone else look at you.
SF: Yeah… hopefully.. I guess..
Two weeks of training daily got the swordfish sick and tired, while he was resting dolphin junior went looking for a little afternoon adventure. The night came, no news about dolphin junior. Swordfish began to worry about him and decide to go look for him, even when he was tired and very very sick. Fortunately he founds him, but he founds dolphin trap in this weird rope. Scared and desperate he decides to go seek help, he is able to reunite all his dolphins friends and family, they are all desperate to help dolphin junior but don't seem to find a solution the rope is too heavy. If only someone could cut it. Dolphin mom reacts and shouts “If only someone have a big bill to help us”. Swordfish kind of wakes up and is able to let free dolphin junior.
After this huge scary adventure, he starts realizing that he is also an amazing fish, that unlike his friends dolphins he had this big bill that make him strong in this others situations and understood how everyone is beautiful in their own way. Life is not about trying so hard to fit in with others, or look like someone else. Life it's about appreciating your own self, love yourself, and understand that we all need to be the best versions of ourselves, find happiness in the little things.
