Since you left that cold winter day,

My life hasn't been the same.

I saw the pain reflecting in your eyes,

I knew you had to go.

I think of you every minute, every hour,

All alone to face your past.

I wish I could be there with you,

I wish I could dry your tears.

It's been too long since I last saw you,

My heart aches at the very thought,

Just give me one chance, one breath,

An' I'll give you the world.

I miss you with each passing day,

How much longer can I take this?

I dream you're here with me,

Lying with me as we slumber,

A smile creeps across your face,

As you say those three magical words.

Whenever you feel sorrow, need comfort,

Watch the crimson flames dance through our eyes,
