We both met at Sinclair,
Hardly knowing each other,
Now here we are, many years later,
And we are the best of friends.
When my uncle passed on,
You were there to lend your support,
Listening to my cries of sorrow,
Encouraging me to continue on.
When I found out about your brother,
I offered my support,
Just like you did for me,
Because that's what friends do.
Even though you are up in Peterborough,
And I am down here,
I still think of you,
And all those wonderful times we shared.
