Snow falls softly upon the ground,
The city is silent in the night,
Stars shine their honour down,
As a full moon hangs overhead.
The season of giving has arrived,
The season of hope and joy,
Let us all come together now,
In this time of need.
Let us not think of war or death,
Hate or crime,
Let us think of love and courage,
And of our Lord Jesus.
A wreath hangs o'er a brightly-lit door,
A mistledoe hovers in the air,
Waiting for two people,
To share a special moment.
It's that time of season,
The one I love best,
When little ones are all excited,
About Santa's visit to their homes.
Peaceful music fills the night air,
As I lay here with you,
There's nothing more I want,
Then to be in this moment for'ver.
Angels sing in the sky,
Their heavenly voices lift our spirits,
Hope and joy replace hate and despair,
In this wonderful season that is upon us.
