INTRO: A Poem to Read

INTRO: A Poem to Read

Sorry, I've got a poem to read.

It's not much to hear,

I've, uh, got it here somewhere

...maybe this one instead.

I write things that rhyme.

Well, one way or another.

In time, I'll get this right

On paper, or somewhere or other.

There's no singing, no props,

Just a limerick, or flops.

You're all invited to here

What I want to impart,

-It's straight from the heart.

This sharing from me is sincere.

A love poem may start,

But be sure that it's more,

Yes more, than meets the ear.

How is it that memories force a tear.
