So I lie here on your side of the bed

breathing in your smell

Old band T-shirt from way back when

Faded

And I think about watching you board that Plane



All the things we said come running back to me

The sun doesn’t mean much without you here

leaves me feeling lonely and cold

I’m struggling to make up the reasons

Kissing the kids goodbye…

Maybe this is part of life I’ve out grown



Nothing more than scattered pictures plaguing me

I’ll join you in the cold and snow now

In the mountains - all hot chocolate and fire

Let’s enjoy hiding

Dream of the life we wish to have known
