Her Homecoming

If there was ever a conversation that was true,

it was today.

God was in that room with you and me.

I may regret my words,

but I don't regret this peace I feel.

I asked Him to take you.

To give you that happiness,

and to reunite with that love again.

For you to finally meet your paradise.

The faith in me, that wasn't so present years ago,

knows that I will see you again.

To wrap His arms around your heart,

to take you in our slumber.

To end this suffering, this artificial life.

I know I'll cry, and I know I'll regret this.

And I know I'll want to turn to the dark.

But I shall not fall off this mountain again.

God hear my prayer.  Have mercy!

And I shall see her again, happy.
