Son

Poems dedicated

Listen to your mama.

Sit by her, watch her.

It may be your last.

I knew he had no one else, but her.

Whose other boy would have been better than me?

I'm sitting on his rocking chair.

I feel the misty wind growing.

The rain mixes with tears.

I can do this, he thought.

Drip, drop moves the water.

The streetlight reflection is powerful

than the color of his eyes.

Gold light moving the black sea.

I'm looking for you in these figures.

Mama's in my mind.

Be good to girls, one of them will have your son.

You get your love from him, which is gold.

Your soul is the goldest of gold.

All that I want for you is to be satisfied

with all this life of lives.

Understand this, that I will always look at you

and see the boy which is now a man.

I strum the guitar and look out the window.

Seeing father and son playing some ball.

My loyal heart belongs to my lil bro.

All that is gold is you.

I love which is gold in everyone's eyes.
