Waiting so long for this moment to come

Time is our enemy

Your first tug was strong

It melted my sadness 

But I pulled so hard at your heart 

Tell me again you love me a million times 

This tug of war keeps me alive 

You know I have to pull my own

Hold me so close that time stops

You shake my emotions to their core

Tug and pull, tug and pull

You know your heart can’t let mine go

You know I’m dying to know how this ends

But until time interrupts us again

Please pull me close, I’ll tug you if you leave 

Tug at me when my anxiety interferes
