I woke up in the valley, but my heart refused to stay.
Even in the shadows, I could hear Him call my name.
The storm kept getting louder, but His whisper cut the noise—
A still, small confirmation that my soul could still rejoice.
When the night tries to surround me,
When the weight is pressing in,
I remember Who is for me—
And I rise and breathe again.
I hear the Spirit say…
Fear not—My hand is with you in the fight.
My Word will be your lamp when shadows rise against the light.
Stand firm—My strength will carry you through night.
My peace will guard your heart and silence every lie in sight.
My tears may fall like rivers, but they water seeds of grace.
And joy comes in the morning when His glory fills this place.
When doubt begins to whisper, trying hard to steal my song,
I sing a little louder, ’cause the Spirit makes me strong.
When the fear begins to tremble,
When the darkness tries to stay,
I remember Who is with me—
And my faith begins to pray.
I hear the Spirit say…
Fear not—My hand is with you in the fight.
My Word will be your lamp when shadows rise against the light.
Stand firm—My strength will carry you through night.
My peace will guard your heart and silence every lie in sight.
Every chain is breaking — (I hear the Spirit say!)
Every mountain’s moving — (I hear the Spirit say!)
The door is swinging open — (I hear the Spirit say!)
My God has already spoken — (I hear the Spirit say!)
I’m praising Him for the victory I can’t see yet!
I’m praising Him for the healing that’s already being set!
It’s underway! It’s on display!
From the valley to the mountain—He’s the God who makes a way!
I hear the Spirit say…
I hear the Spirit say…
I hear the Spirit say—
Child, just praise Me anyway.
In the valley, on the mountain,
In the fire, in the rain—
I hear the Spirit whisper softly,
I am with you. Praise My name.
