the darkness
The darkness, the shiver of the cold air in the dark world. One stands alone to save the light. THe darkness wants to take over the whole universe to rip the world apart. The darkness is something or someone in your life that is taking over. The darkness is also people that are telling you are ugly and not beatiful. But the light will tell you of good tales and good times you had with someone specail. The darkness can't take over not unless you let it and when it's too late you'll never stop the darkness.

'IN DEFENSE OF THE DARKNESS'
the darkness is not
thine enemy
like some would have
us believe
the darkness
accepts all
that the light
will not cover
and holds dear
the shapes
that cannot be
seen
the darkness blankets
impurities
and lends mystery
to otherwise
mundane objects
man foolishly fears
the dark
associates it with
evil and wicked intent
when in actual fact
the darkness
is little more than
a cloak that has saved
for instance many a soldier
from death in battle
so hold dear sometimes
the perimeter of the darkness
stand up for its purpose
and let not others abuse
its valuable use
just as I have this moment done.............
