No but I walked along the curved banks of a gently gurgling creek
woefully convincing the enraptured water below how the ocean sent me post cards to share with the weeping willow trees
in the early afternoon why I could still taste the innocent morning in the air
as the bull frogs sung me an opera of the dandelion's dare branches twisted and majestic brushed my shoulders
absently I strolled my hands outstretched fingers skimming the bushes if earth had her own heaven this backwoods creek bed of gentle wild life would faintly mirror the human view of that very concept
I alas whispered my peace to the droplets of rain that came to sit upon my shoulders through their falling such a marvelous hug life gave me..... (Jan. 28, 2015 1203pm)

Your poem inspired me to write one of my own in reply!
Twining
No
but I walked along
the curved banks
of a gently gurgling
creek
woefully convincing
the enraptured water
below
how the ocean
sent me post cards
to share with
the weeping willow trees
in the early afternoon
why I could still taste the
innocent morning
in the air
as the bull frogs sung me
an opera of the dandelion's dare
branches twisted and majestic
brushed my shoulders
absently I strolled
my hands outstretched
fingers skimming the bushes
if earth had her own heaven
this backwoods creek bed
of gentle wild life
would faintly mirror
the human view of that
very concept
I alas whispered my peace
to the droplets of rain that
came to sit upon my shoulders
through their falling
such a marvelous hug life gave me.....
