I Am There

Author's Notes/Comments:

This poem is about how I would feel if I had to leave my family behind if I past away.I know I would not be able to just go.I would be there for them even after I took my last breath.

Adroit Aegis

Author's Notes/Comments:

She trusted only her mother and loved her. Thus, she was ready to meet her in the Women's Shelter. Home for the destitute but to pay with her life as the two men who walked along inside supporting the limping mother opened fire to kill the beautiful daughter. Could be she was limping, lynched, refusing to be an accomplice? However, cow down later with inflicted pain on her. -- This real incident in Pakistan can never be justified, clarified, argued with words, reasoning etc. -- It can only break hearts.
