These words were inspired by a song my mom used to sing to me when I was little.
I wrote it the day my son started kindergarten. I know he's still just a baby, but at the same time he's growing up way too fast!
He's my pride & joy...my beautiful little boy...my Antonio.....

written for the Irvington Elementary School third-grade Poetry Slam, 2002, in which I had the honor of judging. 

A true story... I just hope my son never reads this... he'd be mortified!

Dedicated to the kid in all of us, especially to my grandson Ryan who is already checking everything out.

For everyone so they can appreciate all these gifts given to us. I was raised with the solstices or equinoxes to begin on the 21st at 2 am. Now they say this year that Spring officially began at 2:15 pm EST on March 20.
