Once upon a time a woman stood in the middle of the quietest room in the world and held her baby for the first time, though it was to be her last. The mother had to make a decision on whether it was right to let her child suffer anymore. The doctors were given the mothers sign to unplug her from life support. So as she picked Serenity up, she knew her baby was dying. What ever was said behind those closed doors to her little angel to be had lasted only five minutes and most likely there was a promise that will be kept for all time(My Little Angel To Be). You are the most courageous person that I know. The pain you felt in your heart as you watched her slip away must have been to great for your body to handle. I couldn't imagine the Lord wanting anybody else to hold his little angel to be while she experienced first hand why life was so very important. She spent a lifetime in your arms and never missed a thing beyond them. Mother, although I've grown to never expect anything less from you, you always manage to surprise me with another lesson of love!
