As in the ending scene of
the Incredible Shrinking Man
not with a sense of futility
but with disappearing desperation
all struggle will be unnecessary
the desire to fight attenuated
as I fade into the background
a ghostly figure in the shadows
a mere silhouette of my former self
no epistles sent from the other side
just a long extenuated sigh
the end really just another beginning
just a dot in the sea of eternity.

I love how this moves through phases, representing the voyage of existence with impacting language, then lands on a profound, open-ended realization: a "CONTINUUM".
