LIKE A COMMON HOUSE CAT

Like a common house cat stalking a bird,

A mere feline feigning to be what it is not . . . .

He promenades through life on stilted legs

Pompously tossing tidbits to his underlings,

Strolls pontifically through life as a peacock

His metaphysics more spectacle than substance . . . .

Dressed in a veneered waistcoat of spirituality,

He saunters with pride in his superficial beliefs,

Trudges with the smugness of the predestined.
