there will be a stand still
in the motion of trees
the wind that was blowing
somehow got thrown off sea
the waves stopped moving
on land the wind was hard to hear
and once a blink happened
all the stars disappeared
the darkness overshadowed
the once lit grass of green
and there was but the moon
for anything to be seen
a sudden movement shatters
in the quiet of the night
a desperate thought gathers
and launches into flight
it stops the strongest wind blow
and calms a wavy sea
and shakes the earth and heavens
of the stars so carefully
i walk to trees that whisper
and blow upon their leaves
i’m watching what i’m doing
i’m controlling how i breathe
i walk over to the ocean
and sit upon its shore
i stick my finger in the water
to send ripples at it’s door
the wind was fairly heavy
but i ignored as best i could
for it was ruining my perception
even if it didn’t think it would
funny that is stopped
on the trees and on the waves
but it rattled at me
as if i were it's slave
i walk over to the sand ground
and pick up each and every star
and toss it back into the sky
which was so very hard
it might just take a while
before it is complete
but i will just keep tossing
while the wind keeps blowing heat
but at least there is the silence
and a light upon my head
the only thing that kept me going
was the moon who was not dead
