+ 27.225 MHz 260: To Some Early Christians

Hermes and Nereus,

Phoebe and Apollos:

your names came out of Greek mythology;

but the Gospel's salvific Christology

has given all things a sanctity,

from what something had been originally,

transformed to what, in Christ's eternity

it will forever and ever be.

Author's Notes/Comments:

The Christians addressed in the poem are mentioned in Romans 16.
