Having a good conscience; that, whereas the speak evil of you . . .

they may be ashamed that falsely accuse . . .

1 Peter 3:16

My heart goes out to your experience

that you have been so unfairly accused

by one who cannor offer evidence,

and speaks from a deepseated ignorance;

who offers to himself congratulation

while slinging through a slog of defamation

against you, who are much above, and better

than his small string of rusted, bent fishhooks

(of which he is a busy master-baiter,

though sloppy on the dock as a bait-wetter).

With lack of couth---one for the record books---

his boasting has caused you to be abused.

His words are like a cabbage fart's brief noise---

lasting a moment after it deploys.
