The glory days

are gone,

I lost the sunset

brilliance in your eyes,

a vivid memory

i keep hoping to re-live.

So much loving and laughing

longing and living 

your hearty laugh 

lifted my soul 

your smile warmed my heart

and I can not forget 

the sight of you walking 

as a silhouette of ssexiness

You cupped my chin and told me 

i would say I love you one day...

i have still never said it,

out loud.
