Walking along the line of hope,
I saw within that line
a life line.
Within that line
I saw so fine,
was a line
written ever so beautifully.

So delicate the line
that the gentlest if tugs
Would snap it broken.
I gently danced upon it.
The hopeful flutter pleasing.

My mind and soul followed
but my heart declined,
Preferring to stay above the line
stopped and skipped
Then fluttered a time

The wind picked up
I began to wobble.
Patiently I waited
for the wind to stop.
Then ever so gently,
continued to hop.

Lost in so many hurts,
this dance so fine
along the line of hope
became my life line.
Drawing from it
beautiful glory and grace

When the lines tangle
They mustn't trap my ankles.
But when the lines
are combed and straightened,
So that one may see
the root and the end unoccluded;

The dance will change
To a spriteful gig
For it is written beautifully
in the design.
