What I want you to know about me...

writing when I get inspired to do so, scifact and scifi, rp games,
fixing anything(Macgyver is one of my nicknames back home), walking in the woods.
Orriginaly from NW Pa, I graduated from Conneaut Valley HS in 98, did a few odd jobs, then joined the Navy on June/26/01.
after bootcamp I was sent to submarine school in Groton Ct. and was taking my first class there when the towers were hit(only 3hrs drive away)...served on the USS Norfolk (SSN-714) for not quite a year then was sent to surface fleet where I served aboard the USS Tortuga (LSD-46) then the USS Dwight D Eisenhower (CVN-69) as a Machinist Mate untill July of 2007... I am now out and wishing I could get back in but.... injured my wrist on my last command and now have arthritis in it.. can't be an MM and have arthritis
