To Hold Each Other's Breath

Folder:
2003

To hold each other’s breath
Is to hold each other’s life,
Never letting go,
Giving the other hope
And strength
And courage.

To hold each other’s breath,
At that moment,
Just before the touch,
Is to hold each other’s soul,
In the tension of the refrain,
Awakening desires,
Yet to be lived.

To hold each other’s breath,
Is to dance in the colours,
Under the blanket of a moonlit night,
Moving in the notes of
Sprinkled stardust.

To hold each other’s breath,
Is an eternal kiss,
Upon lips on fire with desire,
To be given to my
Only True Love.

If you wrote this thinking of a particular love then..........

let me tell you, I am so envious of the person you wrote this for. Exquisite! Just Exquisite.... that is all I can say........ I've never had a crush on a poem but if I would this would be the poem........... now I am a fan, Sincerely, Melissa Lundeen.
