Everything you hear and see is recorded, not conciously but there as conditionng data - an understandng of world culture. The more exposure, the greater the base of knowledge. Unsettling - yes. We are emotional creatures. Example: My response to Opera - it ain't jazz but when I hear it, though I turn it off, I recognize what it is. I know it.
