Fairy Seeds

Folder:
Vintage Words

They come from elvan dreams or

pixie hopes that have faded

from streams that run

and end nowhere.

Beached like whales, they wait

for rain to germinate and emerge

from a chrysalis to drift on soft

currents of imaginary

existence.

The seeds are dustmotes made

of fairy wing residue shed to make

the seasons moan between Winter

and Spring when magic accumulates

and spills across inspirationally

revealing visionscapes.

Fairies breathe in love and ambition,

a wealth of expectation annexed

to encouraged peace, lust for life,

and ego. They exhale fairy dust seeds

and the world, unprepared,

sighs.
